Almost 80% of the people around the world experience lower back pain at one point in their lives; whether they are still children or are already in their old age. The pain that is brought about can gravely affect one's daily function and can even hinder their daily routines. That is why; more and more people are looking for the right lower back pain relief to help them carry on with their lives as normally as possible.

The treatments and remedies for a person's pain in the lower back can vary from simple techniques that can be administered at home, to more extensive and delicate procedures that should be done under the guidance of a physician or doctor. Here is some of the useful lower back pain relief that one can do when experiencing pain in the lower part of their back:

* Proper breathing - breathing in and out with focus will help ease out the stress being experienced in the lower parts of the body. Through proper breathing, the pain can be lessened.
* Water - back pains can also be brought by dehydration. Drinking a glass or two of water whenever pain is experienced can really be helpful.
* Walking - walking can help ease the stressed-out muscles. Walk in an S formation, this will gradually reduce the pain in your back.
* Rest - proper and sufficient bed rest on a firm bed is proven to bring relief to back pains.
* Bath - a warm bath can be a therapeutic way of helping ease bodily pains. For a more effective treatment, try using bath jellies.

Aside from different ways to help ease lower back pain, a person can also resolve to some medications that are also proven good ways to remedy pain in the lower back:

* Acetaminophen - this is one of the most common over-the-counter oral medications that are prescribed to patients who are experiencing acute back pains.
* Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and opium-derived narcotic drugs (OPIOIDs) - these are prescribed when back pains are very extreme.

There are also some alternative remedies that can be done to patients as a form of lower back pain relief:

* Acupuncture - by sticking needles in specific pressure points in the body helps releases natural OPIODs that helps minimize pains experienced in the lower parts of the body.
* Music therapy - this is one of the cheapest remedies for back pains. By listening to soothing music, our tensed muscles relax, thus, allowing the pain to recede.
* Manipulation - adjusting the spinal vertebrae for alignment.
* Traction - uses weights to pull the skeleton in a much better alignment, lessening the pains in the lower back.

These are just the basic treatments and remedies that can be done for lower back pain. If these are still not enough, doctors will then proceed to administering some surgical procedures such as disectomy, foraminotomy, IntraDiscal Electrothermal Therapy, Spinal laminectomy, and many more. By knowing these basic to more extreme lower back pain reliefs, one can always be ready to help ease their own lower back pain.
